El Hacendado Restaurante in Baytown

Horrible! We ordered our drinks and they brought 1 basket of chips for 4 people. We asked for more chips and didn't get them. The server took chips twice to another table. We waited 30 minutes and asked when we would be getting our food. They said it was coming. After waiting 45 minutes we left $10 on the table and walked out. Definitely drive an extra block and go to the other Mexican Restaurant. I've never been there, but it has got to be better then this place.

Food was just Ok nothing really stood out. Also there are no refills unless you get water. Can sodas only.

Delicious food and great homemade tortillas. The place is kept very clean and neat.

First and last time!We asked for 3 separate checks before ordering and she said they couldn’t, okay fine once it’s time to pay, they had already charged 18% of tip like excuse me only way I Leave a tip is by the service you give us, in this case we didn’t have a choice.Lady talking about oh we can’t do it because it takes more time, excuses because the place was empty,I would give no stars, y’all be careful when it comes time to pay***** update- they charged my card $12 more than they were supposed to, thankfully my bank was able to return my money ****

Excellent breakfast taco's, but staff seemed to be racist. I stood at there 20 minutes waiting on someone to take my order. While standing there a Hispanic comes in and is helped immediately. After I finally placed my order an African American walks in and same thing, he stood there 10 minutes while staff walking right past him, he just walked out. Right after he left a Hispanic walks in and helped immediately. 45 minutes to get 3 taco's smh

This is a very nice little restaurant that I like to go to on lunch. After the hurricane they really fixed it up nice and the food is always good. If your in check out the tacos.

Great authentic Mexican food and good service

The worst service around. The food is pretty descent but the service is horrible. Nobody in line and not many people eating, I still waited 15 minutes to get seated. There were two waitresses behind the bar just giggling and not paying attention. Another lady said she would be with us in a minute. She went and started giggling with the other two ladies. The people that were there drink glasses were empty. People were looking around for service but of course the weren't taking care of their customers.

Excellent food! Extremely authentic. Very fast! Great service! Walked over from truck stop next door. Well worth the trip..

Fast and friendly service. Good food. Green salsa was nice and spicy. Cold beer and nice atmosphere. Not crowded for the time we went. They wer playing the super bowl. Has a nice bar area as well.

Interior was impressive compared to it's exterior. Nice setting just miles outside Houston. Nice staff good food.

They did not have tortilla chips and it was very hot inside, the box fan was not enough and the water stained ceiling tiles made me grateful that it was not raining outside.

Excellent flavor, abundant portions. It may take some time to get your meal served, but the wait is worthwhile.

My friend Melissa treated me out at this restaurant and I loved it enjoyed my self and the food was great. Prices are reasonable

I felt we were being mean for not wanting to pay that 18% but now that I see the reviews, I see that I'm not the only one. We came as a group that needed two separate checks. When it came time to pay they also said they couldn't do it. Excuse me, yes you can. If your machine doesn't have the ability to do it, you can submit it as two different orders. Anyway the reason they do this is because if they put more than 8 orders in one check, then they can automatically charge that 18%. I don't mind tipping but I don't like being cheated or forced to tip do bad service. The waitress had two tables and she constantly walked past us. Would not service us. Brought the food and never came back. Took forever to give us our check. We finally went to the register and she wouldn't print a check to review before payment. She was very hostile. Will not be back!!!

Excellent Mexican food. Just my type ; lots of flavor and heat! I was served fresh chips with both red and guacamole salsa. They were delicious and SPICY. The guacamole salsa was a bit spicier than the red, but the red definitely had kick! I had the Red Chile Pork plate. It was expertly prepared. The dish was delicious, with large, tender chunks of pork in a rich and delicious red sauce. Served with rice, refried beans, and salad with avocado. Generous portions. Muy bien!

Loved it. Great menu options. Friendly staff and great table service. We had a great time and the frozen margaritas were delicious. We enjoyed the variety of sauces since some were new to us. We will be back!

Portions are huge and prices are great. The beans and cheese sauce are not very good. No free refills as they do not have fountain drinks. The chicken is also not great (chunks, not shredded). Stop by if there are no other options

Man the got the best tacos ever . No one can top them street tacos from here

They brought out the wrong enchiladas. The food only tasted like salt. They only have cans of soda at $1.50 each. You will wait forever to get your "salt plate". If you come here just consider yourself a victim because these are not repeat customers for sure. Oh and as you can see by the receipt they charge for everything they consider extra...psst dont ask for ice. 😂 I only gave 1 star because you cant give no stars.

Great chiliquilla. Service was a touch slow, but the food more made up for it. Everrythin was clean. Definitely eat here again

Good food but the prices were pretty steep.They charge for each refill on tea and lemonade. But good food and tacos.
